The CQI-26: SPC Short Run Supplement is an official AIAG Publication from the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and supplements the existing AIAG SPC and CQI guidelines with specific requirements for short-run and small-batch production. The guide describes how statistical process control (SPC) can be used effectively even with frequent product changes, low quantities or a high degree of variant diversity. CQI-26 supports companies in selecting suitable SPC methods, correctly evaluating process capability and making data-based decisions despite limited data volumes. The publication is part of the official AIAG Standard Distribution and is available from the AIAG Webshop. It is aimed in particular at quality managers, process owners and auditors who want to implement SPC, AIAG CQI Standards and CQI Guidelines in a practical manner in the automotive industry.
