Purpose and Application of the CQI-25 Guideline

The 1st edition of the AIAG CQI-25 was published in March 2016.

The CQI-25 SPC Quick Start Guide was developed by AIAG as an introductory tool for Statistical Process Control (SPC). It is aimed at companies implementing SPC for the first time, or those looking to apply existing SPC methods in a more structured and effective manner.

Through practical examples, clear definitions, and a step-by-step approach, CQI-25 supports users in monitoring quality metrics, assessing process capability, and ensuring stable manufacturing processes – a key factor in achieving sustainable quality assurance within the automotive industry.

The first edition of the new CQI-25 SPC Quick Start Guide was published in March 2016.

The new CQI-22 standard can be purchased directly from AIAG.

You have the option to obtain the standard as either:

  • an e-document including the assessment, or
  • a printed hard copy with a downloadable assessment.
